Pakistan embassy observed Kashmir Solidarity Day within its premises. Notable Pakistani and Kashmiri community members were invited to attend the ceremony. Messages by Pakistani leadership were read out. Audios and videos depicting the brutalities suffered by the people of Kashmir and their agony were also played during the ceremony. Speaking at the event, embassy officers reiterated the stance and narrative of our leaders on Kashmir dispute. It was emphasized that Pakistan has been steadfast and persevere in highlighting the atrocities, being committed in IIOJK by Indian forces, at every national, regional and international forum. Prominent Kashmiris also spoke about the worst humanitarian crisis in the territory and unanimously condemned the demographic changes by the Indian Government in IIOJK.  It was urged that plight of Kashmiris should not go unheard and that India should be held accountable for its illegal and unilateral action of August 2019. Pakistan’s resolute support to the Kashmir cause was reaffirmed and the solution of the issue under the UNSC resolutions was stressed.
