To pay extraordinary tribute to His Majesty's five decades of leadership and services, on the occasion of 49th Renaissance Day, the Pakistani community in Oman is raring to witness the most anticipated 'Pakistan Festival' being hosted at Convention Center tomorrow evening under the auspices of Pakistani Mission. The Event boasts 'Star Power' with 'Haitham Rafi', the Omani singing sensation set to captivate the audience with a medley in Urdu, Sindhi, Pashto and Baloch languages alongside performances by internationally renowned Ghazal Artist Ustad Hamid Ali Khan and mesmerizing 'Sitar' player Wajih Nizami. Over the past 18 months, the mega 'Pakistan Festiva' was conceived and executed with help of an enterprising Pakistani resident Qamar Riaz associated with Urdu Language, Literature and Journalism having moved to Oman in 2007 and entered JV with 'Stones World Intl' in 2016 for Pakistani Onyx. The Event drew overwhelming interest from inside and outside Oman. The Organizers received 1000 requests against 400 capacity seating within 2 days of registration. A Dinner is being hosted by the Ambassador tonight for 100 guests including participating Artists, Organizers and Partners of the Event namely, Stones World, AZ Engineers, Shining Star Int'l, Khurshid Trading, Mohammed Riaz & Partners, Sohar Poly Industries, Stars Light , Al Ghazaal Rice, Al Barakah Steel, Al Haseena Jewelry, Al Asfar Petroleum, Brothers International, Gulf Neon Signs and Salam Air. Ambassador's LIVE interview with 'Times TV' is being recorded next week as farewell message and note of appreciation for 275,000 vibrant Pakistani community across the Sultanate. His Highness Sayyid Faris Fatik Al Said graces the 'Pakistan Festival' as 'Chief Guest' whereas Ambassador Ali Javed hosts the Event as departing gift for 'Pak-Oman Friendship', spanning 5,000 years of established history of exchanges.
