Today, H.E. Mr. K.K. Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan called on HH Mr. Fatik bin Fahar Al Said, Secretary General of the Ministry of Heritage & Culture. HH Mr. Fatik Al Said warmly received the newly arrived Ambassador and stated that Pakistan and Oman enjoy brotherly relations, which are happily existing between two countries since many centuries. Ambassador Wagan during meeting highlighted various areas of bilateral cooperation existing between two brotherly countries. He informed that Pakistan and Oman being maritime neighbours are tied together owing to similar culture,language and religion as well as commonality of views on regional and international fora. He further stated that there is a huge potential of enhancing bilateral trade and commercial relations between the two sides. Ambassador Wagan assured the Secretary General that during his stay, new areas of bilateral cooperation will also be identified to further promote existing brotherly relations between the two sides and boost prevailing commercial ties between the two countries.
