(Tokyo, 21 December, 2025; The Ambassador of Pakistan held an interactive session with Japan-based academics, researchers, and innovators on 21 December 2025, aimed at exploring new avenues for deepening Pakistan–Japan cooperation.

During the engagement, the Ambassador sought ideas and perspectives from participants on building a forward-looking Pakistan–Japan partnership anchored in innovation and knowledge. The discussion focused on practical collaboration in areas such as research and development, technology transfer, human resource development, academia–industry linkages, and joint innovation initiatives.

The Ambassador underscored Pakistan’s commitment to fostering knowledge-based partnerships with Japan and highlighted the important role of the academic and research community in shaping sustainable and inclusive growth. Participants shared valuable insights and proposals for enhancing bilateral cooperation through joint research projects, institutional linkages, and innovation-driven solutions to shared challenges.

The interaction reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to facilitating closer engagement between Pakistani and Japanese institutions and to advancing a partnership that delivers tangible benefits for both countries.
