The Pakistan Day was celebrated on 23rd March 2021 with national fervor and enthusiasm at the Embassy of Pakistan, Syria, in a simple but dignified way. Due to breakout of third wave of corona virus, the ceremony was attended by the embassy officers and officials only. The function commenced with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran and hoisting of the National Flag by H.E Air Marshal (R) Saeed Muhammad Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Syria. Subsequently, the messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, were readout on this glorious occasion. Speaking on the occasion, H,E the Ambassador paid homage to the father of the Nation Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Poet of the East Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal and all the leaders of the freedom movement who paved the way for the creation of Pakistan. At last the Ambassador urged the Pakistani community in Syria to follow necessary protocols and SOPs to deal with third wave of COVID-19 pandemic for their safety and well-being.
