Mr. Nadeem Ahmad has taken on the esteemed position of Charge d' Affaires (a.i) at the Pakistan Embassy in Niamey, Niger, effective December 17, 2024. As a seasoned diplomat and economist, he brings a wealth of experience in foreign affairs, economic policy, and international relations to the table.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Ahmad served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the same embassy, starting July 27, 2024. His impressive career trajectory also includes stints at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Ministry of Finance, showcasing his expertise in economic matters.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, Mr. Ahmad worked diligently as a Desk Officer, overseeing financial matters for Pakistan's missions abroad. His dedication to public service began on August 10, 2004, when he first joined the government.
Born on August 5, 1985, Mr. Ahmad is a distinguished alumnus of the International Christian University in Tokyo, holding a Master's degree in Public Economics. On a personal note, he is a devoted family man, committed to his partner and blessed with three lovely children.
