Mr. Wahab Ullah Khan Afridi assumed the charge as the Consul General of Pakistan in Jalalabad on the 3^rd of March, 2023.

After completing his Diplomatic Training Course, Mr. Wahab Afridi joined the diplomatic corps of Pakistan in 2020. During the course of his career as a diplomat, he served on important assignments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in various political and administrative divisions, including the Middle East Division, Parliamentary Affairs Division, Accounts & Consular Affairs/OP Division, Protocol Division, Afghanistan Iran & Turkey Division, and the Crisis Management Unit. He served as Third Secretary (UT) in Pakistan’s Embassy in Cairo, as well as Pakistan’s Embassy in Beijing.

Having received his early education from Aitchison College Lahore, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Kohat University, and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from University of Peshawar.
