
Foreign Service Academy (FSA) is the training arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan. Established in September 1981, the Academy has trained hundreds of Pakistani and foreign diplomats. The entire diplomatic corps of Pakistan is a graduate of FSA. The Academy so far has been trained 685 FSP officers.
In addition to training of entry-level officers of the Foreign Service of Pakistan, it organizes mid-career level courses for officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Officials from other departments of Pakistan also receive orientation training at the Academy before their overseas assignments.
FSA also organizes courses specially tailored for spouses and families of Pakistani diplomats.
Foreign Service Academy is proud of training foreign diplomats since 1983. Foreign Service Academy has a global outreach and boasts of the large number of international alumni, many of them serving with distinction in their respective countries.
The Academy has so far trained 1630 diplomats from 122 Countries.
In addition to diplomatic training courses at both mid-carrier and junior level for foreign diplomats, the Academy runs Urdu language courses for resident diplomats.
