A business delegation from Lira, Uganda participated in 16th Food, Agriculture & Livestock Asia International Trade Fair and Conference 2024 held at Expo Centre Lahore. The delegation had B2B meetings. They also met officials at FPCCI Lahore.

A 7-member delegation led by Mr. Douglas Opio, Chief Executive Officer, Federation of Uganda Employers and Sheikh Nooh Muhammad Mayambala, President Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry Uganda participated in the 2nd International Food and Agriculture Exhibition 2024 held at Expo Centre Karachi. They met Federal Minister of Commerce & Chairman, TDAP.

They discussed matter relating to strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom and the High Commission for the welfare of the people of Uganda, particularly the people of Busoga.

On July 18, 2024, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, H.E. Muhammad Hassan Wazir held a meeting with Her Excellency Ketty Lamaro, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports, in her office. They discussed areas of cooperation in education between Pakistan and Uganda.

On June 11, 2024, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, H.E. Muhammad Hassan Wazir visited Anjumane Borhani Mosque in Kampala. During his visit, he met with Dawoodi Bohra Community members including Pakistani nationals. He appreciated their social projects, investment and applauded their humanitarian work.

They discussed matters relating to further strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Uganda including at international organizations.

They had an interesting discussion about expansion of relations in pharmaceuticals between Pakistan and Uganda.

Henry Oryem Okello, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs attended the ceremony. During his speech he wished collaboration between medical Universities of Uganda and Pakistan.

On 20th April, 2024 the High Commissioner of Pakistan, H.E Muhammad Hassan Wazir participated in the 30th anniversary of (1 million) Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda in 1994. Over 10000 dead bodies were brought to Lake Victoria by water rivers to Ugandan. They are buried in a mass graveyard in Ggolo, Mpigi district. Rose from the ashes of war, and today, Rwanda is one of the cleanest and safest countries in the world. They forgot and forgave each other and reunited. Rest in peace victims of the genocidal war.

The High Commission of Pakistan Kampala celebrated Pakistan Day 2024 at the High Commission of Pakistan on March 21, 2024. The Chief Guest of the event was Denis Hamson Obua and Government Chief Whip was Hon. Francis Mwebesa. The Prince Kassim Nakibinge of Buganda Kingdom, a large number of diplomats, businessmen and Pakistani community also attended the celebrations.
