Pakistan Embassy Ashgabat, Turkmenistan participated in Ashgabat International Food Day organized on 4 May, 2024. The event was held at the premises of Ashgabat International school and was attended by many resident diplomatic missions including: Pakistan  2. India 3. Malaysia  4. China 5. South Korea 6. Japan 7. Turkmenistan  (host country) 8. Tajikistan 9. Azerbaijan 10. United Kingdom and 11. United State. All participating countries prepared their traditional food.

During International Food Day, we prepared famous Pakistani dishes such as Chicken Biryani, samosas, channa Chat, Dahi bhalley, Zarda and traditional Pakistani milk tea. Pakistani cuisine was a big hit during the event and our food stalls were visited by a large number of Turkmen food lovers. Within a short span of 1 hour our food prepared for the event was finished.

Our embassy was the only diplomatic mission, which presented dance on famous sindhi song ھو جما لو , which attacked entire visiting crowd and was greatly appreciated by the visitors.
