On 20 of February 2026, H.E. Dr. Faryal Leghari attended Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan titled “Priority directions of Turkmenistan’s Foreign Policy for the year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan-the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” in the International Relations Institute of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Embassy of Pakistan organized an exhibit showcasing Pakistan’s handicrafts and paintings in dedication to the year of the heavenly horses-the theme of Turkmenistan Diplomatic Workers Day. The exhibit was visited by his Excellency Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov and other diplomats, who admired the rich crafts and books highlighting Pakistan natural landscape and artistic treasures. Of particular significance were the Pakistani artistic works on horses and tent-pegging. In addition, Pakistani handicrafts in silver, onyx. wood and textile were greatly admired.
The exhibit also featured a video of Pakistani horsemen displaying their prowess in tent pegging, which was greatly admired.
The Pakistan material and visual exhibit highlighted the cultural and equestrian bonds between the two brotherly countries, and paid tribute to love of horses and the noble animals that hold a special significance in both countries, culture and in Islam.
