To commemorate the first anniversary of Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the decisive centerpiece of Maarka-e-Haq, an event was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Ashgabat. On this occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Faryal Leghari read out the messages of President and Deputy Prime Minister and paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their courage and strategic prudence displayed against Pahalgam false flag operation.
The events of April and May last year were more than a military confrontation marking a defining moment for the nation. Following India’s unprovoked strikes on Pakistani territory including attacks on civilian areas, Pakistan responded with unity, discipline and precision.
Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the core of Maarka-e-Haq, reflected the strength and capability of our armed forces. Pakistan’s response was measured, proportionate and clear, reaffirming that Pakistan’s deterrence is real and resolute. India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty amounts to the weaponisation of water.
Pakistan considers water a vital right and will defend it with the same resolve it has shown in safeguarding its territory. These events also reaffirm that lasting peace in South Asia depends on resolving core disputes, especially Jammu and Kashmir, in line with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of its people.
Pakistan seeks peace, not conflict, but will never submit to coercion or aggression. The nation remains committed to eliminating Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in all forms.
Maarka-e-Haq is now part of our national memory — a challenge we did not seek, but faced with resolve and unity. Let this day renew our commitment to solidarity, peace and prosperity, and remind us that the spirit of Maarka-e-Haq will endure in our history and hearts forever.
