Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Malaysia at the High Commission and by the Community in their own events scheduled throughout the week. The official flag-hoisting event was organized at the High Commission, which attracted a large number of our diasporas from all walks of life who joined with their families. Some community members even travelled from other cities to join the celebrations at the Mission.

The formal part of the event included the flag hoisting ceremony and the Ambassador's remarks highlighting the significance and honoring the sacrifice of our forefathers whose efforts culminated this day in 1947.

Following the formal ceremony, Pakistani food and music were also arranged for the community members.
