On 03 December, 2025, H.E. Dr. Faryal Leghari met with Mr. Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, Minister of Education of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of strengthening cooperation in education by increasing engagement between educational institutions, forging new cooperative mechanisms between higher education institutions. Pakistan would like to offer education scholarships to Turkmen students and is happy to start teacher training, exchange programs and frequent participation in education seminars and conferences. Bilateral language learning forms part of the education cooperation between the two brotherly states.  The ambassador and the Education Minister expressed confidence in the positive trajectory of their relations in education and exchanged gifts from their respective countries.
