On 30th September 2025, H.E. Dr. Faryal Leghari, Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan attended the conference on the result of the speech of the H.E. the President of Turkmenistan at 80th session of General Assembly of United Nations and priority positions of Turkmenistan at the Institute of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. After the conference, the Ambassador was interviewed by the Turkmenistan’s Television channel.
During the interview, she congratulated H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan and H.E. Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan and Foreign Minister H.E. Rashid Meredov on Turkmenistan’s 34th Independence Day and said that Pakistan has been a supporter of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality Policy since its inception in 1995 when it was first announced in Islamabad in 1995 at the ECO Summit.
Pakistan appreciates Turkmenistan’s foreign policy and commendable support towards peace and conflict resolution through dialogue. International Law and the Charter of the United Nations provide the world’s states with a moral and humane framework to make the world a better place for humanity. Turkmenistan and Pakistan are aligned in their pursuit of peace and stability, as well as in advocating for adherence to International Law and conflict resolution through peaceful means.
