On 15th July 2026, H.E. Dr. Faryal Leghari, Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan called on H.E. Mr. Allaberdi Saparov, Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, H.E. the Ambassador and Officers /Officials of Embassy of Pakistan representing Team Pakistan presented the coveted Trionda Football manufactured by Pakistan for the WorldCup 2026. The Pakistan Embassy Team gave two footballs to the Turkmen dignitaries as a token to the warm Bilateral relationship, a timely gesture during the ongoing World Cup. Both sides hoped to have regular friendly matches between Pakistani and Turkmen athletes in the near future. The two sides exchanged gifts.

         The Ambassador informed the Turkmen officials that she was very excited to present the Trionda Football and she had sent a special Worldcup level Trionda Football to H.E. Mr. Guwançmuhammet Ovekov, President of Football Federation of Turkmenistan as a humble gift from Pakistan, knowing how keen H.E. the President was on sports!
