On 27 June, 2025, Mr. Serhan Aktoprak, Chief of Mission of International Organization for Migration (IOM) Kazakhstan and Mr. Timur Dostmammedov, Head of Mission of International Organization for Migration (IOM), Ashgabat paid a courtesy call on Dr. Faryal Leghari, Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the IOM heads discussed the recent evacuations of Pakistani nationals from Iran during the Iran-Israel conflict. The Pakistani Ambassador apprised the IOM that Turkmenistan government extended full support in facilitating speedy visas and passage at the borders. Pakistan is grateful for the brotherly cooperation and humanitarian support it received during the crisis from Turkmenistan.
