A Visa Exemption Agreement for the Holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports has been signed between the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Government of Georgia in Tbilisi, Georgia, today.

Ambassador Bilal Hayee, Pakistan Ambassador to Azerbaijan with concurrent accreditation to Georgia, signed the agreement from the Pakistan side. Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Khvtisiashvili signed the agreement from the Georgian side.

The Agreement would facilitate bilateral exchanges between Pakistan and Georgia as the two countries explore avenues for diversifying their existing level of cooperation.

The two sides also held the inaugural round of Bilateral Political Consultations at the Foreign Secretary/Deputy Foreign Minister level in June 2023, laying the foundation for enhanced bilateral cooperation and exchanges.
