The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has informed that a limited number of seats are available for admissions in Public Sector Universities/Institutions of Pakistan in the disciplines of Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS) for foreign nationals as well as Pakistan Origin dual nationality holders for the Academic Session 2018-19 under Self Finance Scheme (SFS). Purpose The main purpose of the scheme is to encourage expatriate Pakistanis to stay connected with the motherland, and foreign nationals to learn about Pakistani culture and society, encourage knowledge-sharing with friendly countries and to improve relationships with the international community. Eligibility Criteria 1. Interested applicants should have physically studied SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate), or equivalent outside Pakistan, with minimum 60% marks in at least three compulsory subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics, in the HSSC (or its equivalent foreign qualification in case of which marks obtained would be taken from the foreign-qualification Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairman). 2. Interested applicants should have passed Provincial/Regional admission test or SAT-II with minimum 550 marks in each subject (i.e. Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics) or foreign MCAT with minimum aggregate score of 24. 3.
