Cairo, 28 July 2026: The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt inaugurated the expansion of operations of Systems Limited, a Pakistani technology company with an established presence in Egypt. The expansion marks an important milestone in the growing participation of Pakistani technology companies in the Egyptian market.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with Mr. Asif Peer, Group CEO and Managing Director of Systems Limited, and Mr. Ahmed Kandil, General Manager of Systems Egypt, along with other members of the company’s senior management.

The leadership of Systems Limited briefed the Ambassador on the company’s operations in Egypt, its achievements and its strategic expansion plans for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) regions. The discussions highlighted the potential role of Egypt as an important regional base for supporting the company’s wider growth and service-delivery objectives.

The Ambassador and the company’s leadership also discussed opportunities to develop a joint Pakistan–Egypt technology ecosystem by connecting the technological capabilities, skilled human resources and growing digital markets of the two countries.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between Pakistani and Egyptian technology companies, promoting knowledge exchange and encouraging cooperation in digital transformation, information technology, innovation and human-capital development.

He congratulated the management and employees of Systems Limited on the expansion and appreciated the company’s contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s corporate and technological presence in Egypt.

The Ambassador noted that Systems Limited’s expansion reflected both the growing capabilities of Pakistan’s information technology sector and the confidence of Pakistani companies in Egypt’s economic potential, skilled talent pool and strategic regional position. He reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to facilitating Pakistani companies seeking to establish or expand their operations in Egypt.

Mr. Asif Peer reaffirmed Systems Limited’s commitment to expanding its regional operations, developing local talent and contributing to the continued advancement of Egypt’s technology sector.

The Ambassador also interacted with the company’s management and employees and toured its expanded facilities.

The visit underscored the growing importance of technology and innovation as promising areas of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt.
