Cairo, 29 July 2026: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt met with the Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone at the SCZONE headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The meeting focused on strengthening economic and maritime cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt, with particular emphasis on enhancing port connectivity and promoting institutional engagement between the relevant authorities of the two countries.

Both sides acknowledged the strategic importance of improved maritime linkages in facilitating bilateral trade, supporting commercial activity and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of Pakistan and Egypt.

The two sides expressed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and continuing discussions through the relevant institutional channels.
