The Ambassador of Pakistan to Lebanon H.E. Salman Athar called on His Excellency Najib Mikati, Prime Minister of Lebanon at the Prime Minister’s Office. During the call on, both sides reviewed the overall bilateral ties, with special emphasis on bilateral trade and investments. The Ambassador Athar conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of  H.E. Mr. Shehbaz Sharif , the  Prime Minister  of Pakistan as well as from the people of Pakistan for the personal health and happiness of the Prime Minister of Lebanon and continued progress and prosperity of friendly people of Lebanon. The Ambassador also expressed the desire of the Government of Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral ties with Lebanon. The Ambassador briefed the Prime Minister about recent economic initiatives in Pakistan as well as the investment opportunities in the country. He also thanked the Government of Lebanon for its continued support and appreciated the cooperation between the two sides at various international fora, including the UN. H.E. Prime Minister Najib Mikati, while recalling his personal visit to Pakistan, said that Lebanon was always ready to work with Pakistan to further promote bilateral relations between the two countries.   Beirut 14^th June, 2022
