The Honourable Prime Minister has been please to approve the constitution of the "Council of Business Leaders". The "Council of Business Leaders" shall ensure the:- i. Pakistan's business leaders, as representatives of the nation's business community have access to a structured forum to provide feedback on the Government's business, economic, investment, tariff and taxation policies; ii. Policy makers benefit from a diverse set of opinions to assist in the formulation & implementation of the Government's agenda with respect to: a. Creating jobs; b. Boosting exports; c. Increasing investment; d. Enhancing the ease of doing business; e. Encouraging the participation of overseas Pakistanis; and all other areas of policy where the input of business community is critical. Secretary Commerce will act as Secretary to the "Council of Business Leaders".
