On 24th September 2025, Mr. Chen Liyang, the General Manager, International Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. (LTEC), visited the Consulate General, and met with Consul General, Mr. Tanvir Bhatti. Mr. Chen updated Mr. Bhatti on the workings of the company, and their business in Pakistan. LTEC, is one of the earliest Chinese agriculture companies, to start operations in Pakistan. Mr. Chen also introduced his Pakistani team to the Consul General. Since 2018, the company has invested to develop and grow chilli seeds, and chilli plants respectively in Pakistan, with the ultimate aim to export, thereby bridging gaps in the markets, both in China, and other countries. LTEC has given employment to over 5000 Pakistanis, and has provided technical support to over 30,000 Pakistani farmers, positively contributing to socio-economic development of the region.
