In collaboration with the Chengdu Enterprise Confederation (CEC), the Consulate General organized a Business, Trade, and Investment Conference inFCC Building, on 25th October 2024.

总领事馆与成都企业联合会合作，于2024年10月25日在成都市企业联合会大楼丰德成达中心举办了商务、贸易和投资会议。

The Conference was aimed at familiarizing Sichuan based enterprises regarding the favourable Pakistani Governmental investment and business opportunities enacted, with the goal to attract Chinese businesses to set up their operations in Pakistan.

会议的目的是使四川企业熟悉巴基斯坦政府制定的有利投资和商业机会，目的是吸引中国企业在巴基斯坦开展业务。

The relocation and facilitation of opening new markets for both Pakistani and Chinese enterprises, are a few of the key goals of Phase II of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which, as part of the larger Belt and Road Initiative, has resulted in considerable quality economic development already, over the last decade.

为巴基斯坦和中国企业开辟新市场提供搬迁和便利，是中巴经济走廊 (CPEC) 第二期的几个关键目标。作为更大的“一带一路”倡议的一部分，中巴经济走廊在过去十年中已经带来了相当高质量的经济发展。

In Phase II of CPEC, the collaborative model, while continuing to be supported by Government to Government cooperation, would be led by Business to Business cooperation.

在中巴经济走廊第二阶段，合作模式在继续得到政府间合作支持的同时，将以企业对企业合作为主导。

The Conference, was opened by President Xu of the CEC, followed by the keynote address by Acting Consul General, Mr. Agha Hunain Abbas Khan. Via his address, Mr. Agha gave a comprehensive overview of Pakistan's policies, key features, advantages, and also answered queries raised by the over 60 enterprises which were participating. Afterwards, representatives from the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade, gave an overview of the specific policies enacted by the Punjab Government. Punjab is not only the sister province of Punjab, but its capital, Lahore, is sister cities with Chengdu. Afterwards, Mr. Chen Chengwei, President of Sichuan Puji Holdings Group, shared his experience with the audience regarding doing business in Pakistan, and to showcase one of the myriad of success stories of Chinese companies moving to Pakistan and making an impact.

会议由成都企业联合会许会长主持开幕，代总领事胡楠先生发表主旨演讲。胡楠先生在致辞中全面介绍了巴基斯坦的政策、主要特点和优势，并回答了60多家企业提出的问题。随后，旁遮普省投资和贸易委员会的代表概述了旁遮普省政府制定的具体政策。旁遮普不仅是四川省的姐妹省，其首府拉合尔也是成都市的姐妹城市。随后，四川普济控股集团总裁陈昌伟先生与观众分享了他在巴基斯坦开展业务的经验，并展示了众多中国企业进入巴基斯坦并产生影响的成功故事之一。

In the end, the Acting Consul General requested those present to keep in touch with the Consulate and CEC to keep in touch so that the collaborative partnership could continue. Both sides also agreed to Mr. Agha's proposal of sharing information of upcoming expos and business opportunities organized by the Pakistan Government, both in Pakistan, and China, so that CEC members could be fully aware.

最后，代总领事要求与会人员与总领馆和成都企业联合会保持联系，使合作伙伴关系能够继续下去。双方还同意胡楠先生的建议，即分享巴基斯坦政府即将在巴基斯坦和中国举办的博览会和商业机会的信息，以便成都企业联合会成员充分了解。
