Flag Hoisting Ceremony at the Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna to Commemorate National Day of Pakistan

Ambassador Mohammed Kamran Akhtar Malik hoisted the Pakistani flag in a ceremony to mark the Pakistan day at the Embassy. The messages of the President, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were also read on the Occasion.

In his remarks, Ambassador Akhtar stated that, each year, Pakistan Day is commemorated to pay homage to the founding fathers of Pakistan whose extraordinary services and sacrifices led to the creation of our beloved country. It was a day for reaffirmation of our resolve to make Pakistan an economically stronger and prosperous nation.

He further underscored that Pakistan would continue to extend political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right of self-determination. He added that the resolution of the Jammu & Kashmir Dispute would complete the implementation of the partition plan for the creation of Pakistan.
