On the occasion of "Kashmir Solidarity Day 05 February 2025", the Embassy of Pakistan, Kuwait organized an event to express solidarity with the people of Jammu & Kashmir in their just struggle for freedom and right to self determination. The event was attended by a large number of notable Pakistani community members as well as Kashmiri diaspora.  

Messages from the President, Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out before the audience.

A documentary highlighting the current situation and human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K) was played before the audience.

Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal, in his remarks, reiterated that Pakistan values the sacrifices of thousands of Kashmiris in the pursuit of freedom and right to self determination. He affirmed that Pakistan will continue to support Kashmiris and raise voice for the Kashmir cause at all international fora till the attainment of their basic right to self determination and freedom in accordance with the relevant UNSC resolutions.
