Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Defence Production Pakistan and Minister In-charge of Science and Technology met with Mr. Prawit Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of Thailand on 17 May 2016. Both sides discussed avenues to strengthen bilateral cooperation in defence including though enhanced contacts, bilateral visits and to explore the possibilities of joint defence production. Mr. Tanveer was in Bangkok to participate in the 72nd Session of UNESCAP. Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand Dr. Sohail Khan also attended the meeting.
