A community meeting under the auspices of the Ambassador Salman Athar was held at the Embassy on 01 September 2022. The Ambassador apprised the prominent members of Pakistani community in Lebanon about the latest situation of floods in the country. He stated the participants that the recent floods have impacted more than 33 million people along with massive damages of livestock, infrastructure and houses. The community members expressed their full support with the state and the people of Pakistan in this hour of need and disaster and assured that they will not leave Pakistani brethren alone in this hour of tribulation. They also assured their donations for Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund 2022. The Ambassador noted that the donations of Pakistani community living in Lebanon can help to mitigate the sufferings of flood victims in Pakistan. Beirut 01 September 2022
