On the auspicious occasion of “75^th Independence Day of Pakistan”, the Embassy of Pakistan organized a flag hoisting ceremony at the Chancery. Pakistani community members from all walks of life, including women and children attended the august event.

On the occasion messages from the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. In their messages, the leadership stressed that the entire nation must work wholeheartedly for the development and progress of Pakistan and reaffirmed their resolve to make Pakistan a prosperous country.

In his concluding remarks, the Ambassador of Pakistan, Malik Muhammad Farooq paid tribute to the forefathers of the Nation, whose services and sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent. While referring to the historic day of 75^th Independence Day, Ambassador Farooq extended felicitations and urged the community to work diligently for the progress and prosperity of the peoples of Pakistan. He stressed that Pakistan as a nation has witnessed many challenges and measured up to each one with resilience, resolve and pride.

To celebrate the 75 years of Independence, the Embassy has planned various events in collaboration with Pakistani diaspora in Kuwait in the coming months.
