On the auspicious occasion of “83^rd National Day of Pakistan”, the Embassy of Pakistan organized a Flag Hoisting Ceremony at the Chancery. Pakistani community members from all walks of life, including women and children attended the august event. Students from Pakistani school also performed national anthem during the ceremony.

 On the occasion messages from the President and Prime Minister were read out. This National Day coincided with the 60^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Kuwait. The Embassy in in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait to celebrate this year with great zeal and zest. The main focus of interaction is to get maximum tourist attention from Kuwaiti people and to enhance trade linkages and people to people contacts between two countries.

Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq in his remarks highlighted the significance of organizing National Day event on 23^rd March. He mentioned the struggle and sacrifices of the muslims of subcontinent, and paid tribute to the forefathers of nation, whose services and sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland. Ambassador Farooq urged the community to work day and night with unity and pride to overcome the present challenges. He hoped that Pakistan is a vibrant nation and would overcome all difficulties and challenges with dignity and honor.

In the end, Ambassador thanked members of the Pakistani community, Schools administration, media persons for their valuable support and presence at the event.
