On 7 February, on the occasion of “Kashmir Solidarity Day,” the Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk hosted an event to express unwavering solidarity with
the brave people of Jammu & Kashmir in their rightful struggle for freedom and self-determination.
The gathering brought together members of the Pakistani community and Belarusian friends, united in support of Kashmir. Messages from the
leadership of Pakistan were shared, reaffirming the commitment to the cause and the sacrifices made by countless Kashmiris.
A documentary that shed light on the current situation in the region, along with a photo exhibition that captured the resilience and struggles of the
people of IIOJK have been shown to the audience.
In his remarks, the Ambassador emphasized that Pakistan stands firm with the people of Kashmir, honoring the sacrifices made in the pursuit of
freedom. He assured that Pakistan will continue to advocate for their rights on all international platforms until they achieve the fundamental right to
self-determination, as recognized by relevant UNSC resolutions.
Deputy Head of Mission delivered a compelling presentation on the escalating violations and hardships faced by the Kashmiri people, calling for
urgent international awareness and intervention.
