Ambassador Bilal Hayee met with Mr. Håkan Jevrell, State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Sweden, to discuss strengthening Pakistan-Sweden trade and economic ties. Highlighting the historic bilateral relations, Ambassador Hayee made the case for revival of Swedish Institute scholarships for Pakistani students, and the need to enhance development partnerships alongside humanitarian efforts. Recent engagements with Business Sweden, SIDA and the Swedish Board of Trade were reviewed, with both sides expressing optimism for advancing cooperation and building a robust and deeper economic partnership.
