Third round of Pakistan-Thailand FTA was held in Bangkok on 9-11 May 2016. The Pakistan side was led by Ms. Rubina Akhter Additional Secretary M/o Commerce and the Thai delegation was led by Ms. Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Deputy Director-General of the Trade Negotiations Department. The meeting agreed on the outcome of negotiations of Working Groups on Trade in Goods, Customs Procedures and Trade Facilitation, Trade Remedies and Legal & Institutions Issues. It also discussed categories of tariff lines for facilitation. The Fourth round is being scheduled to be held in Islamabad in September 2016.
