First Anniversary Celebrations of Marka E Haq

The Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna proudly commemorated the first anniversary of Marka E Haq, honoring the unwavering bravery of our Armed Forces in defending Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Pakistanis from all walks of life, residing in Austria & Slovakia, gathered in large numbers to mark the first anniversary of Marka E Haq and to pay tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan.

Ambassador, Mr. Kamran Akhtar, during his remarks, paid tribute to the valor of the armed forces of Pakistan who gave a befitting reply to Indian aggression.

The Ambassador stated that "Pakistan is a proponent of peace — but our inclination towards peace should never be mistaken for weakness." The Ambassador also stressed the need to resolve the drivers of conflict, including the issues of Jammu and Kashmir and the Indus Water Treaty, for lasting peace in the region.

Other speakers also underscored Pakistan's desire for peace with all its neighbors while reaffirming national resolve to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity if challenged.
