MR. KHALID MAJID

Born in 1969.
Holds degree of Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and History).
Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1999.
Served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Headquarters at Islamabad as:
Section Officer/Assistant Director (January 2000 - June 2004)
Director (August 2008 - November 2010)
Director General (August 2017 - September 2019).
Held various diplomatic assignments at Pakistan Missions abroad:
Third Secretary/Second Secretary/First Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, The Hague, Netherlands (August 2004 - August 2008)
First Secretary / Counsellor at the High Commission for Pakistan, London, United Kingdom (November 2010 - October 2014)
Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing, China (October 2014 - February 2017).
Presently he is serving as Consul General of Pakistan at Jeddah since September, 2019.
He is married.
