Lieutenant General Muhammad Aamer (Retired), Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) born on 25 June1968, has an illustrious military career to his credit. He got commissioned in an Artillery Regiment in 1987. The General Officer is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University Islamabad. He Holds Masters Degrees in Arts & Science of Warfare and Strategic Studies. His instructional appointments include Platoon Commander at Pakistan Military Academy, Directing Staff at Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University Islamabad, whereas on operational staff, General has served as Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade on Line of Control and General Staff Officer-l (Plans) of deployed Corps.
He also has the privilege of being Military observer in United Nation's mission to Sierra Leone and Military Secretary to President of Pakistan. General has commanded a Missile Regiment, a Deployed Division Artillery, an Infantry Brigade, an Infantry Division and an Operational Corps. The Officer also held the office of Director General Staff Duties and Adjutant General of Pakistan Army.
Lieutenant General Muhammad Aamer (Retired) is happily married and blessed with three sons and four grandchildren.
