Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2005.
Holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad in various Divisions including United Nations, South East Asia & Pacific, and Gulf Region.
Also served as Director (Foreign Affairs) at the President's Secretariat, Islamabad.
Served in Pakistan's Missions in: Tehran as First Secretary (Political) from 2009-2013; Kuwait as Deputy Head of Mission from 2014-2018; and Washington D.C. as Minister (Political and Economic) from 2020-2024.
Prior to assuming office in Baku, was Charge d' Affaires a.i. in Pakistan Embassy, Washington DC.
Married to Sumaira Mohiuddin.They are blessed with a son and a daughter.
