Following documents must be provided for the Renunciation of Nationality:

• Bank Receipt of S$ 7/-
• Renunciation Form (Form X) and Computer Performa duly typed and signed by the applicant (3 Complete Set).
• Eight recent photographs in light blue background of size 2”x1.5”. Please paste 1 of them on Form-X.
• Copy of Pakistani passport / CNIC/ NICOP (Valid or Expired).
• In case of non-possession of CNIC/NICOP or Pakistan passport, the applicant has to prove that under what provisions of law he/she is a citizen of Pakistan and also submit evidence in this regard. He/she may submit NICOP after acquiring it from NADRA.
• Evidence of citizenship / Nationality of foreign country (copy of Singapore passport / NRIC) or Assurance letter of ICA for grant of Singapore citizenship.
• Assurance letter for the children whose nationality is to be renounced with their father. Please note that the names of those children may not be entered in Form “X”, who already have Singapore nationality or have no assurance letter.
• Copy of Birth Certificate / NICOP / Pakistani Passport of minor children of applicant, residing abroad.
• Any other relevant/supporting document that the applicant wishes to add along with the above.

Note:

The nationality of a child below 21 years of age can only be renounced with the application of his/her father, provided the child is living abroad and the Singapore government has also given an assurance letter for the child.
