Switzerland and Pakistan have a strong trade and investment relationship. Switzerland is 6th largest investor in Pakistan and 3rd by virtue of net equity value. Around 30 Swiss companies are present in Pakistan including some prominent names such as Nestle, Novartis, ABB, Roche and Archroma. Pakistan’s exports to Switzerland amount to US$260 Million while Pakistan’s imports from Switzerland stand at US$290 million. Switzerland imports mainly textiles, leather goods, rice, surgical instruments and sports goods. Where Pakistan’s main imports from Switzerland are: pharmaceutical products, machinery and equipment, clocks and watches, chemical dyes etc
