Pakistan High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam His Excellency Janbaz Khan presented his credentials to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Moizuddin Waddaulah , Sultan dan Yang de pertuan , Negara Brunei Darussalam at a graceful ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman on 21 April 2025. Mr Janbaz Khan is the fourteenth High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam. He is a career Foreign Service officer.

The bonds between Pakistan and Brunei are grounded in mutual respect, shared faith and a desire to advance peace and prosperity across the region, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Janbaz Khan said at a Pakistan National Day reception. Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad and spouse were the Guests of Honour. High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Pakistan Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Kamal Bashah bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad was also present. Members of the diplomatic corps, senior government officials, distinguished guests from Brunei’s public and private sectors, community and friends of Pakistan joined the event to commemorate Pakistan Resolution Day.

Janbaz Khan paid a courtesy on Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Zainal Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy at Muara Naval Base, Friday, 02 May 2025 A warm welcome was accorded by the Royal Brunei Navy. The deliberations focused upon strengthening defence ties through cooperation in training, education, and maritime development.
