Visit to the General Inspectorate of Romanian Gendarmerie

Ambassador Ilyas Mehmood Nizami visited the General Inspectorate of Romanian Gendarmerie, where he was received by Major General Alin-Ionel Mastan, Inspector General. Upon arrival at the headquarters, the Ambassador was accorded a Guard of Honour. He also received a briefing about the organisational structure and key functions of the Romanian Gendarmerie. Amongst other subjects of discussion, the Ambassador particularly appreciated the services of the Romanian Gendarmerie for the protection of diplomatic missions in Bucharest.

DPM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting today to review the latest developments in the region. He reiterated that Pakistan is facilitating Iran-US talks for achieving peace and stability in the region and beyond. Pakistan will continue with its efforts in this regard.
