On September 17 2024, H.E. Mr. Muhammad Arshad Jan Pathan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Romania presented credentials to the Honorable President of Romania H.E. Mr. Klaus Iohannis in a ceremony held at Cotroceni Palace, Bucharest.

Ambassador Jan conveyed greetings from the President, Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan to the Romanian President.
3. Pakistan and Romania enjoy close and friendly relations. To further strengthen the bilateral relations, the Ambassador emphasized on the need for enhanced political interactions, parliamentary exchanges, trade/investment delegations and people to people contacts. President of Romania conveyed his well-wishes to the leadership of Pakistan.
