Embassy of Pakistan in Abidjan hosted an event to observe the Independence Day at the Embassy on 14^th August 2024. Members of Pakistani Community in Abidjan and the Embassy officials participated. Flag was raised by the Ambassador in the beginning. The ceremony started with recitation of Holy Quran. Messages of the President, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister for the occasion were read out by community members.

While making remarks Ambassador welcomed members of Pakistani community and congratulated them on Independence Day. An interactive session with the community was held to create awareness about positive image of Pakistan in the host country.
