To mark the Kashmir Black Day, an event was held at Embassy of Pakistan, Bucharest. A large number of Pakistani community, students from different Universities studying in Bucharest and officials of the Embassy attended the event.
Charge d’ Affaires (a.i) Ms. Shazia Muneer read out the messages of the President, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Ms. Muneer highlighted the significance of the Kashmir Black Day especially following the illegal and unilateral actions of 05 August 2019 by the Indian Government in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
In her remarks, she reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, in their just struggle for self-determination. A special documentary depicting historical background of Kashmir Black Day and ongoing atrocities in IIOJK by Indian forces was also screened during the event.
