Embassy of Pakistan in Bishkek observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on 05 February 2026 to reiterate Pakistan’s unwavering support for the brothers and sisters of Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
In his address, Ambassador Altamash Wazir Khan emphasized the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to this long-standing international dispute. He underscored that the path to lasting peace lies in granting the people of IIOJK their fundamental right to self-determination, as enshrined in the relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
Pakistan remains committed to the Kashmiri cause until justice is served and the Kashmiri people are granted a free and fair plebiscite.
Ambassador Khan underscored that the issue of Kashmir was a humanitarian aid human rights issue, as Pakistan advocated, and not a fight for resources.
