On 13 February 2026, Ambassador Altamash Wazir Khan was received by the Kyrgyz Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Boobek Ergesheevich Azhikeev. The discussions focused on practical avenues of cooperation in disaster preparedness and response, through exchange of expertise and training as well as utilizing modern tools. The meeting marked another step toward deepening Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan long-standing partnership in resilience, preparedness and mutual support.
