The Embassy of Pakistan in Stockholm, today, hosted the Christmas Fika to celebrate the festivities of this joyous occasion. The event was attended by members of Pakistani diaspora and Swedish friends. Pakistan origin choir from Equimenia church in Hallunda also performed on the occasion. Trade and Investment Counsellor Ahsan Riaz Chaudhary welcomed the guests and conveyed the greetings on behalf of the Embassy staff. In his remarks, Ambassador Bilal Hayee talked about the spirit of inclusiveness, kindness and charity that embody the essence of Christmas. He lauded the contribution of religious minorities in Pakistan and    stressed the need for mutual respect and tolerance among followers of        different faiths.  Diaspora representative Mr. Emmanuel Ratiq thanked the Embassy for organizing the event to celebrate the festivities with members of the community. A Christmas cake was this occasion.
