79th Pakistan National Day

79th National Day of Pakistan was celebrated with traditional zeal and fervor in Pretoria in a simple and dignified manner by Pakistan High Commission on 23 March, 2019. The National Day celebration began with flag hoisting ceremony in the High Commission at 1000 hours. In the event messages of President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out to the audience by the Deputy Head of Mission.

The High Commissioner in his address on the occasion touched on the historic significance of Pakistan Resolution. He urged upon the Pakistan community living and working in South Africa to work for the progress of their country and present favourable and positive image of Pakistan in South Africa and elsewhere, through their sheer hardwork and solidarity.

A large number of community members were present in the event. In the end prayer was offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
