The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is dedicated to providing a conducive environment to the female employees of this Ministry to enable them to thrive and to pursue productive careers. While ensuring equal rights to work and opportunities, women diplomats of Pakistan serve at key positions in the Ministry and at Pakistan’s Missions abroad. 

This Ministry is committed to enhanced gender representation in all areas, regions and at all levels of the hierarchy. This also means providing a conducive environment for women at the workplace including provision of daycare facilities and considering their welfare and safety during foreign postings. The Ministry is also committed to providing an environment free of harassment for women. A departmental committee receives, considers and addresses complaints of harassment of women employees as per law;
